I was commissioned to do a comic for Wired magazine. In their science section the magazine portrays some scientific news and experiments in panels and it was the turn for a stingray robot made with heart cells.
Created at the Harvard University by the team of Dr. Kit Parker, this experiment could bring advanced in heart diseases. The biggest challenge, as expected, was to convey a lot of information in a limited space.
From the inspiration for the experiment to the build and functioning of the robot, all is told in this 11 panels.
