Yorokobu Magazine

I did a series of six comics about philosophers and thinkers for Yorokobu magazine, one of the most fresh and interesting cultural magazines in Spain.
Thoreau, Borges, Tolstoi, Plato, Pythagoras and an excerpt from Bohemian Lights, by Valle-Inclán, was the set list of the series.It was extremely interesting and challenging to give shape to abstract and complex concepts.
For instance, to depict the idea of the “Circular Time” explained by Jorge Luis Borges I did a circular layout. For Bohemian Lights, I broke the original text into bits to create comic strips with punchlines, re-contextualising the original text.
