I made this piece for the galician edition of Imaginary Lives. A classic by Marcel Schow that inspired writers such as the great Jorge Luis Borges.
Captain Kidd is the ghostly story of a pirate haunted by one of the men in his crew who he killed by hitting him in the head with a bucket.
I wanted to depict the ominous presence of the ghost and the effect it has on the captain. A presence at your back you can only see when looking from the corner of your eye.
